Annual exports of wine from New Zealand rose by 19% in 2008, bringing a record high.
Exports raised a total figure of NZ$904 million ($460 million) for the year, thanks in part to a larger grape harvest, and growing international demand, according to industry body New Zealand Winegrowers.
