Hardys extends Oomoo range

Hardys is launching three new varietals under its premium Oomoo label.

They are Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2007, Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 and Adelaide Hills Sauvignon Blanc 2008.

In the UK, the wines have a suggested price of £9 ($12.90).

Thomas Hardy, who founded Hardys over 150 years ago, borrowed the word “oomoo” from local Aboriginal dialect to name one of the first red wines produced at his original Bankside Winery. The word..
